To cut or not to cut?

Should it be a child's choice in whether or not they get circumcised or their parents? (I think the kids)

It will be my husband's choice. I don't have one, so I don't know what it feels like.

I'm letting my son choose as it's his body and I know too many men that hate it

Foreskin has a lot of nerves that are lost in circumcision. It's sensation he'll never get to experience because that choice was made for him. His body, his choice.

I don't have kids but if I ever have a son he will be circumcised as a baby, no memory of the pain. I'm not against keeping it but I've heard it can host bacterial infections if you aren't cleaning yourself.
