How far in advance does a dr typically schedule a c section?

Thanks everyone for the responses.  I spoke to one of my drs today and found out since I have preeclampsia unfortunately I'll only have probably 24-48hrs notice before they schedule one.  Because it can change day by day with my condition.  But I appreciate everyone's responses

28 weeks or as soon as they have their hospital schedule out (it's usually 3 months in advance)

If you medically need one they usually schedule it between your 34 and 36 wk appointments.

I schedule mine almost immediately I don't even remember it was maybe 10 weeks? Or 14 weeks.

Mine was scheduled at 32 weeks and i had it done at 37 weeks
