Nervous for first ultrasound

I just found out I am pregnant. I have an ultrosound May 8th. I'm super nervous. I'm scared they won't find a heart beat. I'm not having any signs of a miscarriage, never had a miscarriage. But just scared they won't find anything. I'm still in denial of being pregnant.. is this normal?
