In nursery? 😐

Question

Any babies out there in their nursery yet? My little dude will be 6 months on the 24th. A friend told me her son slept loads better in his cotbed. Would it be wrong to wait until he's 16 to let him sleep in his own bed?!? 😂😂 (I am joking!) I know the recommendation is 6-8 months, and I want what's best for him 💙

Just put my little guy in his own room two nights ago. He turned 6mo today. He did great! No transition craziness.

Whenever you're ready!! Mine will be 6 months and don't plan to put her in her room yet

I defiantly experienced first hand why sleeping in the same room is a good idea for the first while. Then we got to the point where we werent ready but were ready. Now we have been in our own rooms for just over 2 weeks. He sleep and naps way better. Same space same routine its heaven, specially with the teething and leaps.

We transistioned our LO to her room at 4 months.  Before that we put her crib in our room so that she was used to sleeping in her crib.  Then we moved her into her room.  That way there wasnt the challenge of getting her used to being in not only in her crib but her room too.  It worked well for us! :-)

My daughter has been in her room since day 1. She slept through the night by 2 1/2 months. I think having her own space helps all of us sleep better.

Mine has pretty much always been in nursery/crib but I have a bed in there for myself too

So when I read about it, it says to wait till 1 but they idea of him sleeping better is very intriguing but I'm also super anxious about it.   How do you cope with that?  And is 6 months to young

My little guy went to his nursery when he was two weeks old and started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks. I think not hearing my husband and I during the night, and having a calm sleeping environment has helped him sleep through the night. I love having him in his nursery.

My little guy left our bedroom at 6 wks old and went to his own nursery , never had a problem 😊 he's happy enough in there and has slept through the nite 13 hours from 6 wks x
