summer teacher maternity leave
So I live in Ohio, and my little girl is due June 3rd. Everyone in the teacher world says how "well" I times this out 😑
Some people at work thought it was weird that I wasn't getting any extra time into the school Year bc the 12 weeks only gets me to August 26. The thing is, we don't normally work for about 6 weeks over the summer anyway. So should those weeks count against me? I am not missing work...has anyone been in this situation as a teacher? Do I have a case to make to HR?
