Did you come up with a name early in pregnancy and keep to it?

pregnancy and keep to it?" /> I'm about 4 weeks and we already have a name for a girl Adeline grace( SO's childhood best friend who died from cancer) and yesterday we came up with Kellen Asher for a boy I'm obsessed. I'm just worried I might change my mind later on.

I loved the name Holden for many years. And I still do. That was going to be our son's name but around 7 or 8 months pregnant we stumbled upon the name Penn. And Holden went out the window.

While I still love Holden, it just didn't feel right. A lot of people told me to talk to my belly and call my baby by the name I had picked. holden always just felt forced.

Not to mention his name would have been Holden Hofeld. Not great. We love Penn. And it's perfectly him.

I had several names picked out when I was planning my "dream family" and then after I found out what I was having I picked something totally different. My first daughter is Madeline Grace, so close to yours ☺️ this time we are having a terrible time coming up with a name! I'll be happy if we decide on one before she is born!

We chose our boy name the week after I found out I was pregnant. I miscarried at 8w5d then again at 5w3d a few months later. We held on to the name and when we found out this rainbow baby was a boy, we already had his name picked out! Girl names were another story. We never agreed on anything until a week before we found out the baby was a boy!

Just don't buy anything monogrammed or personalized yet. I knew my kids names before I was pregnant and I kept those names. It can happen.

With my daughter I had always loved the name Sophia and although it's super popular we stuck with that. Now with my son I loved the name Isaac (hubby hated it) so I let my husband pick my son's name. Only rule was it couldn't be a jr. So although he has the same first name as my husband we changed the middle name and I love it. His name is Julio Josiah or JJ

We picked our first daughter's name easily and quickly. If you love it, it just starts to become their name and you can't imagine calling them anything else. I love both the names you guys picked out! Great job!
