Water breaking: I've heard conflicting things about water breaking, but it seems like most people only have a small trickle or it breaks in the hospital. What happened for you?

I've had 2 bursts and gushes followed by trickles and the other 2 the doc broke

I went to the bathroom and when I thought I was done peeing water just kept coming out. I was so confused. I was like I've lost complete control of my bladder or my water just broke big time. Off to the hospital we went.

It's not conflicting, it's just different for everyone. As a doula I've had clients whose water just trickles early in labor all the way to a client whose water SNAP CRACKED open and burst everywhere lol it's a spectrum that everybody lands on somewhere

With my 1st they popped my waters and with my second, I woke up at 2.30am, got up from bed and it just gushed out and then again when I went to the bathroom, and just kept coming lol
