Need help! So I started talking to this boy and I started really liking him but I wasn't ready for anything serious because I was still building myself up from what happened in my past. So we decided to kinda do the friends with benefits thing until I was ready for something serious with him. I started to really want him and show that I did as well, then he tells me he doesn't want anything serious with me because "he is too independent to be with someone." And like the only problem I was having is that he was talking all this on how he was ready to settle down and how he will wait for me and then he turns to hit me with that. I still really like him and want him to be in my life until we are actually both ready to be together. So my question is, should I still do the friends with benefits thing with him until we can be together ? Or move on and find happy somewhere else?
