I had an all natural birth and the contractions were the worst. I never experienced a ring of fire, didn't know I tore, and pushed him out in 15 minutes. It just felt like a lot of pressure but after 14 hours of contractions it was a walk in the park.

Definitely recovery!! From the stitches, to the bleeding, to the hemorrhoids, to going to the toilet (the stinging omg), constipation as well as feeling like you've done the biggest workout in your life (whole body incredibly sore), I don't know what was the worst part!!  🤷🏼‍♀️

Contractions were the worst for me! Pushing was a relief, and didn't feel crowning or ring of fire because I had a water birth. Water made all the difference!

I think the aftermath is the worst part. I was induced twice and had very intense contractions but I got an epidural at 8cm. I ripped with my little guy. He was 12cm head 13cm shoulders. After the epidural wore off, going pee, trying to have a bowel movement, getting up from a sitting position, bending over, pretty much moving at all felt like hell til I was healed.

I didn't get and epidural, but the most painful part for me was my first BM after delivering.

Contractions were hard as i had back labor, i didn't feel the crowning as painful it just felt really tight. I would decline an episiotimy, it is better for your body to tear naturally as your body will choose the path of least resistance and there will be less damage. The worst part for me was after birth when they press on your stomach to feel that your uterus is going back down. I about jumped off the bed and knocked some teeth out. That was excruitating. I'll take birthing another baby over that any day. Just hurts thinking about it.

For me, I was on Pitocin for 3 days and was totally worn out! My contractions were all over the place and so intense because they had the Pitocin up all the way. Stupid stuff. 
I got an epidural, which honestly is a breeze over contractions! Haha 
But the epideral wore off after an hour so my labor was honestly natural. 
Most painful for me was him crowning and getting a stage 3 rip. And of course the stitches afterwards... Felt EVERYTHING!! You'd think they would numb you or something after having to remake your bits down there with 30+ stitches. 🙄 Hoping this next baby is easier and less painful.

Man I would say the recovery. I felt like I got hit by a train and ripped in half and badly sewn back together ... not to scare you or anything lol Luckily it was only like a little over a week of that. So a week versus 24 hours of labor.

If you have an epidural you won't feel crowning or an episiotomy! Also I didn't find the epidural painful at all

Even though I had an epidural, pushing was the most Painful part for me. I pushed for 3 1/2 hours and I definitely felt pain and not just pressure. My daughter was 9 lb 7 oz and took forever to come out!
