To start this story I have to talk about the day before my delivery. Friday morning I woke up in so much pain, I had a period feeling of nausea (no puking), more cramps, and I swore up and down that my baby had dropped the rest of the way. That night was a spent lounging around the house and complaining about "just not feeling good." My wonderful fiancé rented Moana at redbox, after finishing the movie I went up to bed 11:00pm, (still complaining) and he stayed downstairs to watch more tv. I woke up at 2:30 to notice he still hadn't come to bed so I woke him up and we both went to bed...only for me to wake up at 4 to go per...as I sat up in bed a gush of water soaked my pants. From there we went to the hospital where they confirmed my water had broke but I was still only dilated to a 1. They started me on PIT (omg I thought I was gonna die, and I'm pretty sure the people outside the room thought the same thing when they heard my agonizing moans of pain) the pain was so intense I got two separate doses of pain relief until I was finally dialated to a 3 and giving my epidural. Epidural only worked on my left side until I turned it up...making my left side numb enough to not feel pain but could still move it voluntarily, the right side was completely dead and I couldn't move it at all😂 in a matter of a couple hours I was dialated enough to start pushing. The nurse told me "OK we are going to practice pushing and see how good of a push or you are and I'll call the doctor if you push good enough" I pushed 4 times until she told me to stop because my babies hair poked out and she knew if she had me push anymore she may be delivering her on her own. It seemed like it took my doctor FOREVER to get there, he then explained to me that when my water broke the placenta broke up higher leaving some water still in my sack and so he had to pop it again...he Asked my fiancé if he would like to participate in the birth. In which my fiancé agreed to catch the baby and cut the umbilical cord☺️ in the matter of four contractions and pushing my baby was here! Crying and beautiful👑 13 hours of labor and less then 30 minutes of pushing, Boston Michelle was born 5lbs 10oz and 19" long💕💕💕 37 weeks 4 days.
