Did you or are you planning to register for a glider? If you already have one does your baby seem to like it better than other things? Or is it a waste of money?

I registered for one that reclines & it was the first gift I got. Honestly it's the thing I'm most excited about because it's soooo comfy

I have an old rocking chair that I used all the time in the beginning and still use every night before bed with my DD now.

Is a glider similar to a swing? I have about 5 friends that just had babies and said their swing was the most helpful out of everything. I have about 3 weeks until my due date but will for sure be getting a swing/something similar as it was the only thing i didnt get for my baby shower.
