When would you stop giving your kids Easter baskets?

My mom still makes me an Easter basket and I'm 26. Granted it has more useful stuff in it now that I'm older, like a gas card or makeup or stuff like that. But I think kids are never too old for gifts from their parents!

We just buy easter eggs here in england but we buy for adults too so although my stepson is 18 we will still buy him one each year. My 5 year old still believes in the easter bunny though so there will be lots of chocolate eggs hidden round leading to her bigger egg 😊 exciting... i'll be gutted when she stops believing!!! X

My mom stopped at 10 or 11 😂. I guess maybe that was early...?

I mean I'm 34 and my mom still gives me an Easter basket!  I may never stop with my kids either.  It's a nice, fun thing she does and now instead of candy and toys she gives me things like cute socks and dish towels or something else for the house.  She certainly doesn't have to do it and I don't expect it but it does make me happy.

I'm not doing easter nor Christmas...not the traditional way at least. My daughter will know it's from her parents. I remember the disappointment and how upset I was when I found out it was all a lie..It was around that time I realized what the world really is- nothing but lies. Even Ur parents lie about a fictional character. .. I was literally devastated to find out Santa was not real and it was all a big lie...
So I won't do that to our daughter.. she will know "santa" and she will know mommy and daddy do the presents. Same with easter.. she will do the egg hunt, but she will also know the REAL meaning behind easter, as soon as she's able to grasp the idea..

My dad stopped when I was 13 he said your not a kid anymore and that's only for babies. So then he just started giving us candy instead which was nice because we were to old for toys anyways.
