Was your vaginal birth as painful as you anticipated?

The contractions were like stomach cramps from a bad case of food poisoning. Actually I think the stomach cramps I had from food poisoning when I was pregnant hurt worse than my contractions. Don't get me wrong, it hurt and I had to remind myself to breathe through it. The pushing part didn't hurt as much as it burned. It's nowhere close to how bad I had envisioned.

Labor contractions were worse than I could have imagined (note!! I was induced. So you go straight to the major contractions). However, the actual pushing, while intensely painful, was not the same kind of pain. It's hard to describe. You push and it's ... Doing something. It's taking the pain away and making it something else. I describe it as the most desperate feeling I've ever experienced. But not the most painful.

The contractions are what I can remeber more then anything else.  I don't remeber the pain of pushing her through my actually vag but I remeber thinking omg the contractions are gonna kill me... epideral didn't work on me and elena was sunny side up so the back of her head was grinding down my spine which made my back labour/contractions even worse

It's kinda hard to answer this question. It hurt, I've had 5 unmedicated deliveries so i guess it didn't hurt horrifically
