Early ovulation???

Question

....If your period comes early ( about 8 days early ) do u think this would cause you to ovulate early as well? & how any days after period?  Could uget pregnant within days? All this ovulation stuff super confuses me!

If your period came early it's likely that you ovulated early the previous cycle. It has no bearing on when you will ovulate again. Your luteal phase (time from ovulation to day 1 of period) stays the same every cycle. The follicular phase (day one of period to ovulation) can/does vary cycle to cycle. For example- my luteal phase was always 13 days. My cycle was normally 27-29 days and I ovulated between days 14-16.  One month, I didn't ovulate until cd25, and my period came 13 days after that making my cycle 38 days that month.  One month I ovulated early on CD12 so my cycle was only 25 days that month.
