Do you get ingrown toe nails?

Just wondering how common this is. My parents and my grandparents get it, including me. I didn't talk about this to anyone apart from a friend of mine who had surgery for it a few months ago because it was that bad his toes were constantly bleeding and he couldn't walk at all 😣 poor man
