heartburn?

What have your doctors recommended for heartburn relief?

Mine was horrible and I wasn't sleeping. Tums did nothing for me at all. My midwife recommended Zantac and it was a GAME CHANGER! Best stuff ever!

Thankfully I haven't had to get a prescription but increasing water consumption and tums have worked thus far. If that's not cutting it for you talk to your doctor, they will know best what is safe for you specifically.

Zantac twice a day! But I've also heard eating red hots (the candy) reduces heartburn.  I hate cinnamon so I haven't tried it, but who knows!

A glass of milk works for me all the time

Tums here as well. My doctor did say that if those didn't cut it she could give me a prescription for something stronger.
