Expecting neighbors!

So today as we went to take our kids over to our neighbors house for the waterside they had rented, our neighbor says, "did you hear the great news?" ! And my mom rapidly said "your pregnant"? And the lady gets kinda sad and says yes! Then we get to talking more and she tells me all her symptoms which are almost exactly like mine and the she tells me her due date, and it happens to be that we are due the same day!! Lol Then the husband comes over to us (my hubby & him used towork together) and says "we should have a double baby shower" and then my mom says NO like if she were mad, any suggestions? I don't want my mom to be mad or to even feel bad, anyone been in that kinda situation? Lol
