Mirena... Seizure

So i went in to my OBGYN looking for a non hormonal IUD. My doc talk up the Mirena SOOOOO much even though it has hormones. I was excited about it and got it put in Tuesday April 11th. That night around 1am I had a freak seizure!!!! Never in my life have I had a seizure or ANY major medical issues. I was rushed to the ER and now I have numerous doctors appointments set up AND I'm not allowed to drive for 6 months.... has any one had this same issue?  I've had 2 doctors tell me yes it could be the Mirena but my OBGYN sweats up and down that it's not. Well I don't want to keep this thing inside of me and this whole thing has terrified me. What if it happened again?  I had to almost yell at my doctors office to get them to set up an appointment to even talk about taking it out. I'm so upset and don't recommend anyone get this. I hope I get some answers and I pray that I don't have another seizure.
