Buying used cloth diapers?

I was looking on Craigslist for inexpensive used baby stuff, since hubby and I don't have lots of money, and we don't think all our baby's things need to be new.

I came across a post for a full cloth diaper set - over 20 diapers and accessories, wet bags too. Hubby and I plan to use cloth diapers unless travelling, but does it seem weird to buy them used?

I am still learning about cloth diapering, so I don't know what brands we want, or anything like that. Hubby thinks it is fine to buy used as long as we really disinfect and thoroughly clean them (obviously), since he and his siblings shared the same cloth diapers as hand me downs.

Somehow it seems different, more acceptable, if they are shared between siblings, but what do you all think? It would save us a lot of money to go that route, for sure. I honestly could go either way on it, haven't made up my mind ...
