does ivf hurt

I'm abit of a worrier and just wondered if any ladies have any tips for ivf?? Do the procedures hurt or just uncomfortable???

The 3 shots in the stomach every day for 2 weeks wasn't fun--my belly was very bruised and tender. Actually having the eggs retrieved did not hurt, as I was under general sedation. The days leading up to it were uncomfortable because I was bloated, and the days afterward hurt because I was bloated and sore. I finally feel like myself 2 weeks later. Transferring our embryos back in will be the easy part.

It's painful emotional and tiring but when you get the result u want Hun honestly you'll forget u went through all that pain, it will be well worth it X I had injection for 14 days the egg collection was ok but when I got home I was in extreme pain so ended up staying in hospital two days 1 night coz I had some bleeding, that can happen to some ladies and some are fine. And the transfer is lot very painful only takes like 10 min in total. Then it's just the 2ww which is a killer lol after that your pretty much back to normal all the bloating bruising ect goes down X just try and relax. I was more relaxed the second cycle coz I new what was going to happen and was aware X goodluck Hun x
