am I bad at giving head??

So me and my best friend with benefits were messing around last night and he ate me out ( it was my first time having that done) and I had an orgasm. So I thought I'd return the favor but every couple of minutes he would pull me back up to make out, which is fine and all, but he never gave me the chance to make him finish.
