No Baby Shower

I was fretting because the idea of a shower freaks me out. I just had one last year for my first child. Our daughters may be less than 12mo apart (due on my daughters first bday). It's just too much. I'm planning a Dedication-First Bday for my oldest daughter. I have eight other babies in the family that turn one this year and I don't want my daughters special birthday to be skipped because of a shower which I don't really need. And... I found out my husband (who is happy if I am), my mom, my dad and my sister... ALL AGREE! I appreciate their love and desire for me but we have come up with a great alternative, and we don't need much... and my sister will get to fly out here when I have my second daughter instead. Anyone else skipping a shower? #relief
