When did you start dilating? (1cm)

I went in for my first weekly today at 36+2 & im already 1cm dilated! I know people can get stuck at that for weeks but was anyone else dilating this early? Just curious!! FTM here 😬

No idea. Dilating without consistant contractions means nothing, so I opted out of getting checked until my due date. There was no point in knowing

That's a pretty normal time to start. I usually started around 35 or 36 and stayed at 1cm for awhile. Both my boys were born between 39 and 40 weeks

Baby #1 dilated 2cm at 39 weeks, induced at 41 weeks and dilated back to 1cm 
Baby#2 dilated 1 cm at 40 weeks induce at 40wk+3 days went from 2cm -10 in a total of 6 hrs :)

Dr says don't get excited dilation its only important once your in true labor until then it could take day or weeks ((like in my case)) and sometimes even reverse lol
