Is it ok to eat store bought potato salad?

Is it safe to eat store bought potato and macaroni salads? FTM here so I'm unsure...I've been avoiding it throughout my pregnancy so far but it's starting to get into the season where BBQ's are happening and I know with my family that potato and macaroni salads are a staple lol. So I wanted to know if they are safe to eat. I'm currently 25 weeks along.

Only thing I've avoided is raw fish, raw eggs and alcohol - otherwise I've been eating what I want

If we played by the "rules" we couldn't eat anything lol

Should be safe as long as it's still cold when you eat it and it doesn't have any deli meats in it to reduce food poisoning risk.

You can eat it as long as it don't have raw eggs in it ..we can't eat raw eggs so no ceaser salad ladies

Didn't even know it was a food to avoid...but then again I've pretty much eaten whatever I want and baby is fine. Only thing I've avoided is raw eggs like in batter.

I've been eating them. If you're at a BBQ though make sure they haven't been sitting out for too long before you eat them.

I've been eating it throughout my pregnancy. I make sure I eat it within 24 hours of buying it and I make sure it doesn't sit out for long.

I would just make sure you get on it as soon as it's put out so it's not sitting any length of time in the heat to reduce the risk of food poisoning.
