Do you get period blood clots? Were you able to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy with a history of clots?

Read today that blood clots aren't normal or a sign of a healthy period. Curious, who here has had blood clots on their period? Who was able to concieve and have a healthy pregnancy regardless of having clotty periods? 😊

Blood clots are definitely normal during a period lol. Not sure where you read that at but it's false~ 
I've always had heavy bleeding and blood clots especially during the first few days of my period.

Never heard of that before. I've had heavy periods all my life and some clotting...not major but some. We were able to conceive all our kids straight away.

I get a lot of clots during my period for about 3 out of the 7 days that my period lasts. My periods are pretty heavy too. Some of the clots are as big as a quarter. We tried to conceive for about a year and a half. The problem however what most likely due to my husbands sperm since his test came back abnormal. I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with twins (no IVF). I've always mentioned the clots to all the gyn I've been to, but none of them seemed to concerned about it.

It's the size of the clots that can indicate abnormal periods. I've had them all my life. I conceived just shy of a year of trying

I voted yes because I was on BC pills for over a year and had gotten extreme blood clots.. im talkin baseball size, it was so scary. But they went away after they switched me to a lesser hormone dose. 
But on a normal period I would get a few random little clots.

Id definitely talk to an OB about it.
