Has anyone made their placenta into capsules and recommend it?

We did it for my first child and are planning to do it again with our second. I don't have anything to compare to, so I can't really say if it would be better with than without.

I'm not sure yet. I'm thinking about it, lol. There's not any data on it, but there rarely is on things that don't make them $$$, so that doesn't bother me in the slightest. The only nay sayers I've heard are from those who haven't done it...I've never heard of anyone doing it and regretting it, or choosing differently in a subsequent pregnancy...that does carry a lot of weight with me...

True there's no scientific data regarding benefits but theres no data to say there isnt. Im sure its totally safe and ice had friends do it. It puts hormones back into your body as we have a HUGE shift after baby. I planned to and got buay but wish i had. I had postpartum depression and maybe it would have helped. There is definitely no harm in trying.
