For people who were in a LDR

So me and my boyfriend are in a LDR. I came to visit him on New Years and been here since. Once you knew you were gonna be with them forever, did you move in with them? Did they move in with you? How did you feel? Were you homesick a lot? I'd like to know because I've been feeling homesick more than usual lately and I don't wanna leave him because it took 4 years to finally meet. I'd like to read some stories to get some advice possibly. Thank you c:
