When did you feel safe to announce "I'm Pregnant"

I constantly don't want to picture the future yet. I just found out I'm pregnant & im terrified to they my hopes up. It's still really early & anything can happen. That's my worst fear, anything can happen. When did you feel comfortable to tell others you were expecting? When did you feel comfortable knowing you wouldn't misscarry or lose the baby? Life's so uncertain.

With my first we told family and close friends at 4/5 weeks. And everyone else at 9 wks. After our ultrasound.

With this pregnancy we told family one day and everyone else the next day. I was 5 weeks.

I know it isn't for everyone, but I refuse to live in fear of the what ifs. Life may be uncertain, but living in the fear of that isn't good imo. I also would have such a great support system should anything happen. But I'm 16 weeks now and going strong.

If you want to tell people early, tell people you would want in your life if the worst was to happen. You don't want to be alone in that instance. Then you are surrounded by supportive people during the good and bad throughout your whole pregnancy.

I told everyone as soon as we found. With my first pregnancy I waited until the 2nd trimester to announce, then waited until the 3rd trimester to buy anything. But then my child was stillborn at 28 weeks and they couldnt give me a reason why.... Her heart just stopped.... I learned the hard way that you are never truly safe.... So I decided that if I were ever to be blessed with another pregnancy I would celebrate every moment of it, no matter the outcome. Every morning I tell myself "Fear is not real, it is simply a product of our thoughts. Dont get me wrong, danger is very real, but fear is a choice." I live by that

I posted online around 14 weeks because I was pretty paranoid. I told people I was close to much earlier though! Maybe around 6 weeks for close family and friends. Good luck to you!

I told a lot of people as soon as I found out. We were so happy and so excited and I was only a month along but for some reason I just wasn't worried. We waited until I was 7 weeks to put it on social media. I'm 14w4d going strong with a healthy little nugget 💕

I didn't tell anyone besides baby's father until I was 20 weeks. I just didn't feel comfortable before that. After I told everyone I would constantly have anxiety because I felt like I was jinxing myself for announcing to the world. I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow and I'm still very anxious when I talk about my son.
