Won't let husband help

My daughter will not let my husband put her to sleep. She will scream and cry and then stop the minute I take her from him. Occasionally, if she wakes up in the middle of the night and he gets to her before she's fully awake, she's okay with him. She is breastfed so I know that's part of it. Anyone have ideas on how to get her to let DH help at night? He's feeling pretty rejected and I'm exhausted 😩
