First babies only: boys born before girls?

Getting super excited to welcome our baby boy soon! Due in 12 days and keep hoping that maybe  he will come a little earlier but keep hearing that first babies always come late. Recently my husband told me that apparently in the Chinese tradition it is believed that boys are born earlier than girls. Wondering if there is truth to that?

True for me.. After 5.5 hours of labor, gave birth to my first son the day before his due date. :)

Girl born 4 weeks before due date. Nothing wrong medically princess just wanted out. Hubby still thinks she came on time, but she was so Tiny to be 12.5 oz

My boy was born a week before his due date, but Idk how much that counts. It was a scheduled c section cuz he was breech.
