I purchased early in the 2nd trimester but everything had a long lead time, so that's why. It arrived early/mid 3rd trimester. Had the painter/handyman come and had window treatments made in between ordering and arrival -- timing worked out well!

We started to decorate our nursery and buy the furniture at about 26 weeks we both had some holiday from work so took the opportunity to get the room decorated. Just buy things and get ready when you feel like it. X 

I bought the crib, high chair, swing and dresser at 8 weeks pregnant 😂 I don't regret it at all because all my large items were out of the way!

My first I had furniture by 12 weeks, I found a good deal! 🤣This is my second and we're in a new house plus my husband is deployed. I'll likely get the nursery done around 30 weeks when he's home to help aka do all the work. 

I don't purchase large items etc until I am past viability

Id have loved a spare room for my baby. But, never did and cant I buy furniture. My baby is sharing the room with me, I have a pretty large boxspring so baby's gon be fine. I have a dockatot for sleeping, a rock n play for whenever ready, and clothes etc. Just the very necessary stuff. Baby's gonna love it anyway!! 💙💗😍😍😘🤗
