Can i just vent real quick?

So my soon to be mother in law was in town and she went with me to my sono, we had a great time together like we always do but then she asked if I was going to do deliver naturally (she asked this out of no where) so I told her no I am not I'm going straight for a c section! Well this was not ok with her, she kept on about how I have to try natural and this that and the other! I let her speak but she didn't even ask WHY I wanted this! It did upset me that someone is trying to tell me what I have to do with MY child especially without knowing why! I'm NOT doing it because labor is "hard" I would love to give birth naturally but I have a family history of woman who can't dilate and have almost died during labor during it (my mother with my older sister) for the past 4 generations we have all delivered​ c section! Not to mention my baby sister lost her child during natural birth a few months ago from being in the birth canal too long and sufficated! So please excuse me while I would rather be safe then sorry!!!
