Bright red blood when wiping?
Had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I had a contraction while going so I waited a second to "finish". When I went to wipe, bright red blood covered the toilet paper. When I wiped twice more, there was more blood. I put a pad on and called my mom and asked her if she thought I should go in and give her a warning because she's watching my 3 y/o when labor happens and she told me to check my pad before I decided, because the nurse told me if I soaked a pad in an hour to go in. I checked my pad, and there was more blood but definitely not soaking. I peed again and wiped, but it was just slightly pink, so I put a new pad on to monitor if anymore bleeding occurs. I have a doctor apt later today, so I'm not sure if I should just wait or head to L&D. I'd hate to be sent home and put everyone out at 1am. I'm still having contractions, about 6 minutes apart, but they're not painful. I hate playing the guessing game, I've been sent home from the hospital twice for false labor. 🙄
