My stupid ass baby's father has been mad at me for about a week now over something old. And he told me that he wants nothing to do with me. He told me to get my shit and to leave his house. I'm like "cool, whatever, I'll go back to my dads".. 😂 I told him our next appointment is next Wednesday, he said "I don't fucking care, I don't care about that baby." (I'm guessing he said that out of anger", but I told him since he feels that way towards me and our child, he don't need to be in our life. He seemed okay with that.. would I be wrong if I didn't let him in her life?

Give it some time. Dont make irrational decisions off emotion. Let it cool off and go from there.

Don't make permanent decisions based on temporary problems. If he wants to be involved, let him, for your child's sake (unless he is actually a danger in some way). However, I wouldn't chase him or try to make him. If he chooses to stay away fine, but if he wants to try to be a dad to the kiddo, you owe that to the kiddo to give him/her the opportunity.

I think you shouldn't keep him away if he continues to try to be there for the baby. Maybe take this appointment as a test. If he doesn't show up & he attempts to speak to you like he just doesn't care tell him he can't see the baby. If he acts like he doesn't care you have your answer. Best of luck to you!

Learn to separate what to are going through as a couple from what decisions you make for the baby. That's the best advice I can give you. If y'all have an argument, like most couples do, why bring the baby into it. It makes sense that if he's THAT mad at you, his anger is going to STILL be there when you bring the baby up. As a couple, give each other some space to cool down. As parents, if he doesn't go to one appointment, you'll be fine. He's obviously but mad at the baby or pregnancy, but at you. If I were you, I'd leave the child out of it until it's time for baby to come. If he doesn't step into action at that point, it's obvious where his heart is truly at and your can make a rational decision. But until then, chill out and try to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy without thoughts of "he should be here". Easier said than done but best when done.
