Little sister came out
I am seeking (respectful) advice from individuals who are gay. My little sister (20 years old) recently opened up to me about liking girls as she puts it, and has waiting so long to tell me because of my Christian faith. She was afraid I would judge her and/or try to change her - which neither are my agenda nor even on my mind.
But I want to help make this process easy for her so she'll be comfortable coming back to family functions.
I can imagine how difficult it is to come out and I want to hear what has helped others feel accepted whether it's something that was said or done.
