Eczema

My almost 10 month old is experiencing pretty severe eczema. We got steroid cream from the doctor, which was initially helping (but I stop and start again after a week since you aren't supposed to use it for extended periods of time). Now it has spread and gotten worse. I am at a loss for what to do. We booked an appointment to see the ped again and see if she has any other suggestions.

Do any of you have any tips for relief or some secret to help with the eczema? It's starting to cover 50% of his body and he's getting spots on his face. I feel so helpless.
