His Family Won't Respect ANY of My Wishes

I really just need to vent and get some advice even because everything I want is "too unreasonable" for his half of the family 🙄 So when I have the baby I stated that I want a few hours to spend with the baby, the father, and I. This way we can spend some time with him before we're bombarded with family members. I don't think this is too much to ask especially since it's my child? I understand family is eager to meet him but I want to be able to really bond with my child. My boyfriend's (the father) sister said that this was completely unreasonable and it'd make a lot of people mad. My boyfriend even agreed! Is this request too unreasonable?? I've had numerous other things I wished to do but have since decided not to because of his family and their opinions. I could really use some advice. Should I stand firm with what I'd like for my child or should I give in to his family's wishes?
