harmful fumes while redoing house

So our house is in construction mode basically until baby comes in October. We've had a lot of fumes going in and out and will continue to for some time. I finished staining some wood in my kitchen today ( 15 wks preg) and had windows open but smell stayed in the house for a while. It's gone now tho. Basically freaking out now because idk if it could be harmful. I used rustoleum wood stain and nowhere did it say it's dangerous but obviously to be in a ventilated area. Should I be worried??? My husband says it's not a big deal but now I'm a bit upset. I honestly wasn't really thinking about it until I was done staining.
