telling your kid you hate them
I just saw a mother in a Facebook group confess that she told her 3 year old she hated him. She then said she couldn't bring herself to go in and apologize.
Really everyone in the group is coddling her saying "it's okay we all have bad days!" Because the rule of the group is to scroll if you have nothing nice to say....
What the fuck? Even if she has postpartum depression (which I also suffered with for 4 months) I absolutely wouldn't want people coddling me if I said that to my kid.
Is it wrong to tell a woman who is suffering with PPD that she shouldn't say that to her kid and if they did she needs to March in there and apologize to him, even though it might be hard for her? No excuses. Being a mom is hard and you fuck up but when you know you fuck up, you rectify it immediately.
