pregnancy and iud

So I'm hearing lots of pregnancy stories about the iud. Mainly (Paragaurd). From what I'm seeing and hearing is that the majority of the women who have had the iud in for over 5 years are experiencing this. I've had the paragaurd in for right at about 7 years. No major complications maybe a little painful cramping here and there slightly heavy periods. nothing I can't manage. I wanted to hear about the 1% that did get pregnant. What were your symptoms? How far along were you when you found out? How long did you have the iud in? I'm just curious but I would love to hear your stories.
