Hair removal?! help!😫😫

Hi, I'm only thirteen years old but I've got a huUuUge problem.. My mom will not let me shave and I do not know what to do with the hair..down There.. It's so weird.. Here's my question: what did you do to start hair removal down there?

Pubic hair serves a purpose. You don't actually need to remove it.

To be honest, I only removed pubic hair during my early high school years. It became too much of a pain (itchiness, soreness, bleeding, ingrown hairs, etc) and I just decided to stop. (Not to mention the risk of accidentally cutting my labia.. yeah no.) I sport a bush and it's not an issue. Pubic hair is natural. You don't NEED to shave it. It's fine. It's normal. It's a sensitive area down there and most types of hair removal can be very irritating. Don't panic. If your parents don't want you to shave or anything down there then wait a few years. When you know more about shaving and/or waxing and (if) you still want to try it then do so.

It serves a purpose, but sometimes the bush needs trimmed lol. (I'm your age too)
Before a shower take scissors, ones for hair trimming if available, and CAREFULLY snip, don't go to far. Avoid the very bottom of the hairs, and stick with the front half not whats by the labia. This helps it be manageable and not stick out in white underwear (i.e. At sleepovers, changing for gym class, etc) and not stick out in swim suit. Most of all, DONT GET SCISSOR HAPPY lol. Clean scissors afterward, and snip over toilet so you can flush it down.

I'm thirteen and I know the struggle. My mom said I couldn't shave down there unless I was having sex. I respected what she said but soon it got uncomfortable. Just sit down with your mom and talk to her. Tell her you need to shave because it's uncomfortable. But you should know you will most likely get razor burn and that's extremely uncomfortable. If I where you just trim it with scissors. If you do decide to shave then shave with the grain (downward) to prevent razor burn and make sure to apply lotion after you get out of the shower.

Girl, I started shaving down there when I was 15. I would just trim it at your age because once you shave everything, it gets super itchy when razor burn occurs which is like 99% of the time 😂

I didn't actually start shaving down there until a little bit before I graduated from high school. I'm 23 now and I don't shave down there very often. It's not really necessary and as someone said before, your pubic hair serves a purpose. Once you're older though, do as you wish with your body! ☺️

I was in 6th grade when I started shaving. My mom didn't let me at first. I'm in 11th grade now and I shave my legs, armpits,and down there. I shave down there because I'm more comfortable but when I first started it was super itchy and I sometimes still cut myself pretty bad on accident. I think over time it got more comfortable because my skin got used to it. If you wanna shave down there, do it. And if you don't than you shouldn't. Don't feel pressured! You're still young and you probably shouldn't worry about it too much.   If you feel it's too much but you still can't shave it opt for trimming it with some scissors. I did that for years!
