I chose not sure only because there wasn't a "in the middle" Option. I think every relationship is different and requires a balanced amount of submission on both ends in order to be successful. There's this book I was reading that explains some reasons why some relationships aren't successful and submission was one of them. So yes to an extent u must be submissive in a relationship. The amount of submission u attribute to the relationship is totally 100% up to the individual.

Every relationship works differently. As long as the couple is happy with their roles, then good for them. In my relationship of 11 years, I'm just naturally more submissive. I love that my husband takes charge of our family and makes sure we are safe. Don't get me wrong, we make all of the big family decisions as a partnership, but things like what we're eating for dinner or who drives is all my husband lol. I'd like to add though, that in sticky situations where someone needs to be stood up to, my husband sends me 😂😂 he's says I'm his pitbull. So maybe I'm just letting him think he's the boss 🤔😂

Nope. Absolutely not. I think a healthy relationship is one where people work together. Not all women are naturally more submissive and not all men are naturally more domineering. My boyfriend is more submissive in our relationship because he's just less uptight lol. That is what works for us. Each relationship will be different. Some relationships will be completely equal, and some will consist of one partner holding more weight in the relationship. I think it's okay as long as everyone's opinion is taken into consideration when making decisions. A lot of the time, my boyfriend's opinion is just "I don't care" so I make more decisions about certain things. Also, in same sex relationships, that would get pretty tricky lol. How can they both be the most dominant or more submissive? It's dependent on the individual in the relationship and not their gender. And it might not be a thing at all. As I said, some relationships are completely equal.

I said no because I don't think they should have to in order for the relationship to be happy. Egalitarian relationships can absolutely be happy and life-long. Of course, every relationship is different. If being submissive works for you that's great. Same goes for egalitarian relationship or relationships where the woman is more dominant. What's important is that the type of relationship is agreed upon and that there is respect for one another's wants, needs, and comfort, Also adding an obligatory comment about how the notion that women should be submissive and men should be dominant in relationships is super heteronormative. 😉
