nipple piercings and numbing??

Question

So I just had a question. If I got a numbing spray or cream and put it on my nipples before I got them done would that work? Would they still hurt? Is it even ok to do that? Your opinions please! I have a very high pain tolerance and I'm so scared to get them but want them so bad! so I want to try to avoid pain as much as possible

I got my nipples pierced and the first time was not bad. However I had to keep taking them out as I was hospitalized multiple times and couldn't have piercings. I kept getting them repierced and after about the 4th time it hurt like a mofo!! The scar tissue was so thick and I never got them repierced after the last time. I have a high pain tolerance but it just wasn't worth it to me

I've never used numbing spray so I'm not sure if it would make much of a difference. But, I just got mine pierced a few weeks ago and it wasn't bad at all. Maybe 4/10 for me. Once they've got that clamp on there, the pierceing doesn't feel like much more than a pinch. The few hours afterwards was the worst part for me. They basically felt like thay were on fire. I just sat on my couch holding my boobs because the pressure relieved the burning feeling.

i've had both done and honestly the worst part of when you get the piercing(s) is the clamp. it's bad, but it's not unbearable if you have high pain tolerance.  you could try the numbing cream, but i don't know how much it'll do. the initial piercing process isn't bad, but it stings like hell for a few days after and that throbbing pain is the worst of it
