Dangerous for baby in the summer?

I live in Arkansas where summers are gruesome. I'm due June 7th and would like to have a cover for my car seat.. I want one that will cover my baby from strangers (and nosey people) and bugs!! Will this be too heavy for summer? If so, any reccomendations?

Try a see through light net... They are cute and work great against bugs and people!

We have a milksnob brand and it's a very light jersey like material. It's great for the wind (i live near chicago, so we get the Windy City wind) and keeping people away. I could see it being light enough for hot summers though. Maybe try a light pattern/color to keep the sun from being attracted to it??

If you can't find a mesh one, try muslin. That one looks like it'd be too hot. Good luck! ❤️

Yes those look too heavy for the car seat a mesh cover and for nursing a light cover try a nursing scarf or light baby blanket kinda like a throw

I'd get a muslin one.  I live in Florida so I get the heat thing,  muslin is very breathable, check out Aiden and Anais. I use their blankets too.

I bought mine from Carseat Canopy.com and they are made from a material that when it's cold, keeps your baby warm but when it's hot is keeps them cool. Like how some t shirts do. I love mine and it also gives you easy access to look at baby and make sure all is well :) I highly recommend that website. They can be speedy. But I had a coupon. So that helped but I really love mine and am very happy I purchased it
