I think he's becoming controlling...

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years. He was amazing the first year of our relationship I mean there were times where I sensed that he was being a little controlling but nothing too extreme. Well lately he's just been different with it. He's told me that I'm not allowed to go out with one of my friends every weekend like I have been because she's my "hoe friend". Then we got into a fight over a pair of shorts I was wearing because it was hot out. Yes my shorts were pretty short but last time I checked I'm an adult and can dress myself and don't need my boyfriend acting like my father and telling me what I can and can't wear. He's just been very controlling and I don't know if it's just me over reacting or what.
