new boyfriend around my kid
I'm 22, have a 5 year old daughter, she never sees her dad anymore because once he had a child with someone else he stopped wanting to see her (for whatever reasons).. Anyway I've been dating this guy for around 9 months and today we made it official and I think I made the right choice.. He doesn't have any kids, he hasn't really been around any but he is amazing to her, he treats her as if she was his own but this is the part that makes me want to cry, he buys me flowers once a month and when he does this he buys her a rose, it makes me so emotional.
Now my ex is constantly messaging me saying how dare I bring another guy into our daughters life, that he's the father, the only man she needs in her life..(I've been with other guys during these 5 years but I never allowed it to get serious and kept them away from my daughter).. I told him that yes she is his daughter but he is the one who chose to stop seeing her, that I am allowed to move forward with my life.. After that he started messaging my boyfriend making threats to him.. Any advice on what to do?
