Military spouses! Please help!
This is my boyfriend Darius and I in Savannah, GA when around the time we first met. It has been about 9 months since then, and he is my best friend and soul mate. I have never loved someone so much.
He told me when we first met that he wanted to join the military. He said he wanted to "be somebody" and I support him 100%! I love the fact that he is putting his efforts toward serving his country and becoming the man his dad once was (his dad passed when he was 3 and he doesn't remember him).
Darius left for boot camp in Chicago yesterday and won't be back for 2 months.
I miss him so much, and I am having trouble finding motivation to do anything. I am in school and I'm graduating with my associate's degree in 3 weeks. I'm having so much trouble staying focused. He was always my motivation for school and work, and now that he's gone I'm having so much trouble.
Any advice that ANYONE would like to give me (not just military spouses) please comment. I would love to hear your stories and how you got through your experiences.
