Not that I wasn't already scared enough about getting the mirena iud a week ago, but now that this is going viral I'm literally terrified that I went through all of this pain and misery to just want it removed 😩

This is rare it's like 0.01% chance of getting pregnant on an iud that is in place. You are more likely to have it expelled. You are more likely to get pregnant if it comes out of place. Now I'm not saying it's impossible I'm saying it's not likely. If you do get pregnant on an iud they will try to remove it which could cause a miscarriage. It's more likely to be an ectopic pregnancy in which they will have to force a miscarriage because if the fertilized egg implants I'm your fallopian tube you could lose that tube if you wait too long, or even die. If they can't get the iud out some women have been able to carry babies to term with the iud in place. This is all very rare. However if it scares you that much maybe you should switch to another method

I am absolutely positive that this is fake. Even if she got pregnant on it which is so incredibly unlikely, That baby would not be holding it. Someone photoshopped it in or placed it in the baby's hand.
