infection from sex??

Question

It seems like every time my boyfriend and I have sex I get some type of vaginal infection. Wether it be a bacterial or yeast infection. I live in Florida and I assume it's from the hot weather and Victoria Secret underwear aren't the best to let it breath.. so I'm going to be switching to 100% cotton underwear. But could I be getting these infections from sex? I have gotten 4-5 within the past 2 months. 
I was also thinking is it from him using his spit to make things wetter?.. tmi ik but I just don't what else I could be getting it from.

I do pee after sex 
But I will tell him from now on we both should wash up before sex and also we're both each other's first. 
Is there any lube recommendations?

Talk to a doctor! But do you pee after sex? If you don't that'll let things set and cause infections. Be careful if you're getting uti's, it's not good to take antibiotics all the time. But I'd try getting really clean after send and see how that goes!

1. Definitely switch to cotton underwear like you said.  
2. Skip the underwear completely some nights to let it all air out and breathe. 
3. Invest in a lube already! I don't know for definite but I can't imagine the bacteria from his mouth is doing you any favours in terms of infections

I'm like this too. You're probably prone to infections. I always get UTIs or yeast infections but most of the time UTIs. Yous both need to make sure you're washing your hands and genitals before sex. If you can't shower tell him to use the sink or use baby wipes. The cause of UTIs is bacteria getting pushed up into the urethra. Yeast infections can be caused by multiple things. Staying wet and not changing. Over washing with soaps. Wearing tight clothing. Dirty hands. Point is keep clean. It's better to ruin the mood for 3 seconds to clean up then kill the mood for weeks over an infection that could have been avoided. Also never self diagnose or medicate. Always go to your doctor. Yeast infections can be treated over he counter. I like monistat 3 the suppository inserts. It's the 3 day one.
