Do I have a valid reason to be upset?

Question

I typically walk around my house with just my underwear on, no bra. It's hot and I'm breastfeeding, so I always have a boob on h e ready for my LO.
We heard a knock on the front door so my husband went to answer it. It was just a salesman so my husband sent him away and I continued about making dinner.
About 5-10 minutes later there was another knock. I assumed it was the same salesman, so I just continued about finishing dinner thinking my husband would just send him away again.
My husband comes walking in with somebody and announces "we have visitors". I quickly duck behind the counter and shout "Are you fucking kidding me. You know I'm not dressed. I'm going to freak out!"
He has the person step outside and goes, just go put some clothes on.
I grab my 7 month old and run to the bedroom. I close and lock the door because st this point I'm LIVID. How dare you bring somebody into our house when you know I'm practically naked.
He then comes banging on the bedroom door telling me to unlock it. I tell him no, and that I just sat down to nurse our daughter.
He walks off in a huff and doesn't get whybim upset. Did I overreact or do I have every right to be upset?

My FIL once didn't let me know he was stopping by and I was braless in boxers and a cami. He came in and was quite embarrassed. I refuse to apologize if someone shows up unannounced and I'm not "properly dressed". They can deal with it.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't let him in the room? Maybe he came to apologize. Maybe he just wasn't thinking about the fact that you didn't have a bra on because he was so used to it??

That's very upsetting and you should let your future guests talk over the phone when they want to visit you, just popping up announced is very rude.

I'm one of those people who hate random visitors for this very reason.  He could of made them wait and warn you before hand.

Yeah I'd be upset! I do the same thing; I walk around home with PJ bottoms and a nursing bra, at most. If the doorbell rings, hubby always tells them "one moment please" while I run upstairs, and THEN he let's them in. It's disrespectful, otherwise.

Id be pissed too! But my husband wouldnt have let anyone in cause he don't wAnt anyone seeing "his goods" (My body lol). So yes I'd be pissed!!

Oh you definitely had a reason to be mad. If my husband did that, he'd be wearing the dinner I was making.
